For their “Kitchen of the Week” this week, Houzz.com selected this adorable kitchen in California redesigned by Erica Islas of EMI Interior Design, Inc. The owners, a family of four, wanted their kitchen to fit into the home’s original 1920s architecture but with all the modern amenities.
“Teal cabinets, Spanish-inspired tile and a cozy breakfast nook helped take this kitchen in Los Angeles from cramped to charming.” – Vanessa Brunner, Houzz.com Staff Writer
The modern amenities come in with an apron-front (a.k.a. farmhouse) sink from Kohler and a faucet from Rohl.
